These terms cover your use of getmyfortunes.com. Using the site means you accept them. They are short, because the site does very little.
Entertainment only
This is the important one. The fortunes on this site are written for entertainment. They are not predictions. Nothing here foretells any event, and no reading should be treated as a basis for any decision.
In particular, nothing on this site is medical, legal, financial, or psychological advice, and it is not a substitute for any of them. If you are facing a decision that matters, consult someone qualified to help with it. If you are struggling, please talk to a doctor or a crisis line in your country rather than a fortune site.
How the readings are produced
The readings are a written collection held in the page. When you ask, one is selected from the set for the current day of the week and your name is inserted into it. The selection is arbitrary. It is not informed by anything about you, because the site knows nothing about you.
Your use of the site
Read your fortune, draw another, copy one out and send it to a friend — all fine, and no attribution needed. Please do not attempt to interfere with the site's operation, or republish the collection wholesale as your own work.
Advertising
The site is free and is supported by advertising served by Google AdSense. Ads are supplied by third parties; their content is not reviewed or endorsed by us, and any dealing you have with an advertiser is between you and them. Cookie detail and opt-out links are in the Privacy Policy.
No warranty
The site is provided "as is" and free of charge, without warranty of any kind. We do not promise it will be available, work in every browser, or be free of errors.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of this site or from anything done in reliance on a fortune read here. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
